Themis is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business established as a Joint Venture to make a difference in the lives of Federal Employees and the missions they so proudly support. We provide modern software development lifecycle activities, secure infrastructure hosting and data processing support, and professional consultation services. 

Themis consists of two established SDVOSBs, Kenjya-Trusant Group and GigaTECH.  The leadership of each company, having demonstrated business rapport, a shared interest in advancing capabilities and support for Federal Workers and Service Personnel, as well as a unique combination of complementary corporate skillsets, decided to form this JV. This alliance offers our current and future customers a deeper bench of technical proficiencies accompanied by a wider association of support and advocacy. Al Nardslico is an upstate New York-born Computer Engineer and businessman who truly enjoys the challenge of business. After completing service with the US Navy in 1986, Mr. Nardslico worked as an engineering consultant at Johns Hopkins University, Applied Physics Laboratory in the Advanced Systems Design Group. Mr. Nardslico received his degree in Computer Science and Information Systems from the State University of New York (ESC) and after some brief independent consulting “gigs”, co-founded Systems Made Simple (SMS) in 1991. Mr. Nardslico managed daily operations and P&L responsibilities within SMS for 20 years as Chairman of the Board, President and principal founder. During his tenure SMS evolved from a ‘garage startup’ to an industry-leading Federal Health IT Company with hundreds of employees nationwide and over 350 million in sales. SMS achieved INC 5000 honors six years running with INC 500 honors in two of those years until its “entrepreneurial American Dream” sale to Lockheed Martin in the Fall of 2014.

Mr. Nardslico’s career experience has given him a unique and broad understanding of all aspects related to organically growing a startup company into an industry-leading powerhouse. Mr. Nardslico is a process guru who has worked architecting and implementing business processes focused on maturing businesses ranging from startups to multi-billion dollar enterprises. He has lead teams of executives in both Fortune 500 companies (Eastman Kodak, Carrier Corp., IBM) and major federal agencies (Dept. of Veterans Affairs, HHS, SSA) to define, refine and institute complex and unique business processes. Applying these skills to SMS he was able to grow SMS from obscurity to one of the largest and most respected Federal Health IT providers in the industry.

Armed with a “roll up your sleeves” approach, Al is a strategic thinker who has mentored a number of successful executives throughout the years. He supports a portfolio of small entrepreneur businesses as a Board of Director, member and executive management consultant. He has a knack for building and maintaining high-performance management teams which are at the heart of every successful business. His role as the primary shareholder and as the Shareholder Representative in the sale of SMS to Lockheed Martin gave him firsthand experience with negotiating large-scale M&A transactions. At the time of its sale to Lockheed Martin, SMS had zero debt and over one billion dollars in booked business. Mr. Nardslico is focused on leveraging his experiences and practical knowledge to work with other entrepreneurs. Mr. Nardslico’s highly respected career as a leader, innovator and visionary along with his rare ability to motivate and inspire uniquely qualifies him as a valued team member among those few entrepreneurial companies destined to deliver the next generation of successful industry and technology solutions.

SCOTT BRADSHAW

Vice President: Sales & Marketing

Scott Bradshaw is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at GigaTECH, Inc, a company specializing in healthcare IT, software development and program management.  Scott is a motivated Business Development/Sales/Operations professional with over 35 years of experience in the Federal Government.

Through direct interaction with both government customer and industry stakeholders, Mr. Bradshaw has been responsible for developing new business and expanding existing customer opportunities.  Mr. Bradshaw is successful in securing prime contracts with defense and civilian federal government agencies as well as building an extensive partnering relationship with other federal government contractors.  Mr. Bradshaw’s extensive experience includes business development, program and project management, managing information technology, software development and managing intelligence service contracts.

Mr. Bradshaw started his career in the United States Army and as a Station Technical Controller with an emphasis on installation and maintenance of communication systems.  During his time in the Army, he worked programs with an emphasis on data management systems.  Upon leaving the military, Mr. Bradshaw transitioned as a government contractor building big data analytical systems for the U.S. Army.  This program grew to be the prominent tool used for data mining by all branches of the military as well as other federal agencies.  This tool was used in performing analytical services required in mission support, technology transfer, and identifying problem areas around the world.  Mr. Bradshaw has experience as Director of Operations for a commercial company responsible for managing the daily operations of system development and installations for a mass notification and emergency call system that was designed and built in house.

Mr. Bradshaw continued his career back in the federal government space as a Director of Business Development and VP of Operations with a small federal government contractor.  His emphasis was on developing new business, maintaining existing customer relationships and assisting with the full lifecycle of proposal Development.

Scott Bradshaw has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Averett University and enjoys playing his bass guitar, staying in shape with CrossFit, and participating in Triathlons.  Scott currently resides in Bridgewater, Virginia with his wife, Kerri.

Richard Kubu

Richard Kubu

Rich Kubu is a twenty two year veteran of the US Armed Forces and Army Corps of Engineers, with the last four years of his service working with industry directly supporting capability development in DoD and the IC. He has over 15 years of experience in managing and supporting “cradle-to-grave” acquisition and technology development programs of multiple sizes and levels of complexity. He is a high-level expert in the areas of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS); Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE); and strategic planning. Rich has a proven history in leading organizations through transformation initiatives at various stages of development with critical analysis and integrated solutions. His academic degrees include a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the George Washington University, Washington D.C. and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York.  As a Partner Member of the Themis Associates LLC, Rich has responsibility for execution of some of our largest contracts, as well as managing day-to-day operations at KTG.

Vince Marucci

Vince Marucci

Vince Marucci, Jr. is a co-owner of KTG and co-founder of Trusant Technologies. He started his career as an army officer (mechanized infantry/airborne ranger), and had assignments commanding troops, teaching mathematics and computer science at West Point, and working as a staff officer in the artificial intelligence section of the Programs Analysis and Evaluation organization at TRADOC. In 1992 he took early retirement from the Army and joined RWD Technologies and their new startup Information Technology consulting organization. During his 10 years with RWD, he helped grow the IT organization from about 10 people to over 350. He left RWD as a senior vice president and chief technology officer to start Trusant. Vince has a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and two master’s degrees from Stanford University, one in Computer Science, and the other in Operations Research. As a Partner Member of Themis Associates LLC, Vince is responsible for KTG’s financial operations and other day-to-day operations.
